Missouri Open Novice Section
New Player friendly tournament!
Novice Open Section: Players rated Under 1000 or Unrated are eligible.
Rounds: G/45 d;5. Each player gets 45 minutes with a 5 second time delay.
Round Times: Saturday – 10am, 12:15pm, 2:30pm, 4:30pm
Rounds are paired using “swiss”system each round. Players play all four rounds, no eliminations.
Entry Fee: $20 pre-registered by 6pm 9/10. Or $25 on site the day of the event. You may register and pay Online. Payment to www.paypal.me/mochess. Please include Name and USCF ID # in the notes. Cash & Credit Cards accepted onsite. 1 half bye permitted if requested at registration.
Special Discounts count as $5 off in this section. Max 2 discounts.
Membership: USCF and Missouri Chess membership is required. May be purchased ahead of time or on site during registration.
Registration: Onsite registration from 8:30-9:30am
Prizes: Based on 20 Entries:
1st :Place: Novice Champion Trophy and $100. 2nd : $75, 3rd $50
