DESCRIPTION:$48 early — NO ONSITE REGISTRATION.\n\nSee tournament flier for full details: New Year Bash tournament flier\n\nWhere: Hilton Garden Inn Olathe – 12080 South Strang Line Road\, Olathe\, Kansas\, 66062 \nFormat: 4 rounds Swiss – Game/60 with 5 second delay (Dual-Rated); Two Sections: Open\, Reserve-U1700 (Based on January 2021 Rating Supplement and CCA minimum rating lists)\n\nSchedule: Saturday: Rd 1 – 9:30AM; Rd 2 – 12:00PM; Rd 3 – 3:00PM; Rd 4 – 5:30PM — see tournament flier for more details.\n \n\n\nPrizes: Total Prize fund is $800.00 in 2 sections\, each for $400. Prizes will scale up or down proportionally based on entries in each section.\nOpen ($400 based on 24 players): $200 – $100 – $50; 1st U1900 – $50\nReserve-U1700 ($400 based on 24 players): $200 – $100 – $50; 1st U1400 – $50\nAll prizes are paid in full by check when a clear result is determined.\n\n\nTournament Directors: NTD Brian Yang (Chief TD); NTD CJ Armenta (Assistant TD) \nEquipment: Please bring boards\, sets and clocks to the event. Online registration will open on December 12\, 2020 at 12:00PM; registration system will be closed after 48 entries have registered or by January 1\, 2021\, 11:00PM\, whichever comes first.  All entries are non-transferrable and non-refundable. This is to be fair to all interested players and prevents withdrawals – there will be no wait-list or lottery system to fill any vacant spots.
